Every single knot is tied by hand at 90–100 KPSI for a dense, durable pile. We use only 100% pure New Zealand wool, prized for its natural lustre and softness. The fringe is the rug's own warp threads, and there is no glued backing, so the rug breathes and lies flat. Natural abrash — slight shade variation across the field — is the signature of a genuine hand-knotted rug.
