How It Is Made

Knotted by hand by master weavers in the Bhadohi–Mirzapur weaving belt of northern India, a region that has woven carpets for more than five centuries. A single rug takes roughly 45 days across a 10-stage process — carding, spinning, dyeing, knotting, clipping, washing and hand-finishing.
