We are the weaver, not a reseller. That removes a layer of margin and, more usefully, a layer of guesswork — when you ask whether a border can be narrowed or a motif scale reduced, the answer comes from the people at the loom.

Specification Notes

Hand-knotted, Turkish Ghiordes symmetrical knot, approx. 100 KPSI, 100% New Zealand wool pile on cotton warp and weft. Low pile height. No latex, no cloth backing, no adhesive — the construction is fully reversible and repairable, which matters on any project where the floor covering is expected to outlast the lease.

Suitability

Wool's natural lanolin gives inherent soil and stain resistance, and wool is naturally flame-resistant without chemical treatment. Appropriate for residential, boutique hospitality, private club and executive office applications. For heavy-traffic contract work, tell us the location and we will advise on pile height and knot density before you specify.

Ground Colours Available

This design is currently drawn on terracotta, but the graph is colour-independent. It has been woven in navy, forest, blush, storm blue and charcoal grounds, and the motif palette can be recoloured entirely to your scheme. Nothing about the pattern is locked to the red.

Lead Times

Made-to-order pieces are graphed, knotted, washed and finished individually. Send your install date with your enquiry and we will confirm a realistic timeline before you place the order — we would rather turn down a date than miss one.

FAQs

Can you match an existing rug on site?
Usually. Send photographs in daylight plus a yarn clipping if one can be taken from the fringe or selvedge, and we will assess before quoting.

Do you supply to the trade outside the USA?
Yes — we ship worldwide with tracked delivery and full commercial documentation.

What if the client rejects the strike-off?
We redye and resubmit. The point of a strike-off is to fail cheaply before the loom is dressed.

Is there a minimum order for trade pricing?
No unit minimum. Contact us with your firm details and we will set the account up.
