Working Direct With the Workshop

RUGYFY is the direct arm of a weaving operation in the Bhadohi–Mirzapur belt of northern India. The person quoting your project is scheduling the loom, which removes the two things that usually slow a rug specification down: importer lead times and unanswerable questions about construction.

• Dye to reference — Pantone, paint chip or fabric memo. Strike-off samples available before full production on custom colourways.
• Any dimension — 11x16, 14x22, L-shapes, landings, stair runners to match a field rug. We weave to drawing, not to a size chart.
• Repeatable across a project — the design and dye recipe stay on file, so unit two matches unit one.
• Documentation for client files — construction spec, materials, dimensions, origin and care.

Very close. Wool takes dye differently to fabric, so we recommend a strike-off for anything critical — that removes the guesswork before production.

Can you match an existing rug already on site?
Often yes. Send photographs in natural light and, if possible, a small yarn sample.
